Do you ship artworks from New York to Paris?
Yes. MATTEI coordinates shipments in both directions. Collection, packing, custom crating, air freight, export and import customs clearance and final delivery can be included according to your quotation.
Does my painting or sculpture need a crate?
Packing depends on the artwork’s fragility, materials and dimensions. Send photographs and details of the existing packaging. We assess whether it can be reused or whether a custom crate is needed for the planned shipment.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Provide collection and delivery addresses or postal codes, the number and dimensions of the artworks, existing packing and your preferred dates. Include access restrictions, floors and any unpacking or installation requirements. Optional insurance and excluded charges should be identified in the quotation.
How long does shipping take?
The schedule is confirmed after reviewing packing, documentation, flight availability and the receiving appointment. Tell us about exhibition deadlines or urgent requests from the outset. Arrival at the airport is a separate milestone from delivery to the final address.
